visa hand-in week

Well, here we are again...gathering the last signatures, bank statements and pictures in time to hand in our visa paperwork. There are a few changes from last year that caught us by surprise, so we are doing the mad dash to different offices to get the final papers we need.

Praise with us that the paperwork from the mission arrived this morning! We prayed it here in time.

Pray that the bank statements and last paperwork would be gathered so that on Wednesday Tom could: drive to Prague and pick up all the paperwork from the woman who helps us navigate the rules for getting visas; drive to our bank and print out a statement showing we have enough money to live here and; drive with our family to the Foreigners Police office and wait until they call us all in and look through all our paperwork.

Pray that we would find favor in their eyes, they have historically not liked us at this office and been rude. Pray that they would accept all the paperwork, that there would not suddenly be a new rule or paper we need.

Thank you for caring. This is always a tense time for us as the FP have not been favorable to us before and aren't noted for their politeness. We, obviously, can't stay in country without this paperwork, so it is vital to our staying here.

We will be praying. (The white background is MUCH easier to read, and I am enjoying reading your blog entries.)
